Administrative Assistant
Part-time
Join our rapidly growing PianoKids® network of
after-school music labs in New England elementary schools. We currently
operate in four locations throughout Berkshire County and are expanding
into central Massachusetts and the Hartford area. Our head office is in
Lenox, Massachusetts.
This part-time position could lead to a full-time office
manager position.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated,
take-charge type of a person, quick learner, comfortable with
computers, database, spreadsheet, and the Internet. He/she will have
good writing and verbal skills, good organizational skills, and a
pleasant personality for dealing with both students and parents. Past
experience in related areas and references are required.
Duties:
- Secretarial assistance to the Director (filing,
typing, mailing, and phones)
- Communication with parents, faculty, and schools,
both verbal and written
- Billing and database management
- Assisting in promotional activities (ad and press
release copy, open houses, etc.)
Hours: Weekdays 1-5 PM
Salary: Hourly, commensurate with experience
