How to make the accompaniment softer

When the accompaniment is too loud relative to your playing it is no use turning the main volume knob down, because that will make your own playing also softer. To reduce the level of the accompaniment without affecting your own playing do the following:

Press the ELONGATED BUTTON TO THE RIGHT OF THE DISPLAY WINDOW 5 times.

This will bring you to Song Volume menu.

Reduce the volume to the desired level (usually in the 50-60 range)

Note: This reduced song level stays for other songs too until you change it back to its default value (100)

Troubleshooting

My Disk is Stuck:

Should a disk get stuck in the disk drive NEVER PULL ON IT! You may damage the drive. Call us at 413-637-1168 and we can either advise you what to do or ask you to bring the keyboard over and we'll pull the disk out for you.

How to prevent disks from getting stuck:

We constantly remind students not to touch the metal part of the disk. Periodically check to see if the metal part is flush with the surface of the disk. If not, discard the disk immediately and we will replace it. A damaged disk can damage you keyboard!! (We replace the first disk for free and charge $2 thereafter).

I can't find my song:

Press the grey Song button. You must be in Song mode to be able to switch to another song. If all fails, eject the disk and re-insert it again.

The keyboard is doing weired things:

Eject the disk. Power down. Wait for 10 seconds. Power up again. In 9 out of 10 cases this will get the gremlins out of your keyboard. If this doesn't do it. call us.
