Whether you are a young teacher setting out to establish your private practice, or a veteran who wants to learn new skills and technologies, the training will be useful for you. Because the PianoKids methodology encompasses many disciplines and many approaches it can easily be incorporated into an existing teaching practice. Following are some suggestions as to who would benefit most from the seminar:   where and when New faculty hired to teach after-school classes - We will create a schedule for you at your new school. Summer seminars are open to all teachers and take place in Lenox, Massachusetts. Situated in the beautiful Berkshire mountains, Lenox is home of the Tanglewood Music Festival and many other cultural institutions. By car, we are two hours away from Boston and three hours from New York City. Take the I-90 (Mass Pike) and exit at Lee (Exit 2). We will send you driving directions with your registration package. You can reach us by air through two airports, Albany, NY or Hartford, CT, both about one hour and 15 minutes away by car. Summer sessions take place in our PianoKids studio at the Berkshire Music School in Pittsfield, about a 10 minute drive from Lenox. fees and registration Tuition for the Basic PianoKids Teacher Training seminar is $490. The fee includes weekend seminar, one month of supervised teaching in one of the PianoKids® studios, and all materials. Fees are due upon registration and are non-refundable. Teachers hired by PianoKids® to teach in any of our branch schools, as well as interns, receive their tuition free of charge, subject to the terms of their contract.
